In a marriage, I always say that somebody has to represent Christ. That may be you or your husband. In order for the other to see themselves someone has to put on the fruit of the Spirit. For example, if there is a heated discussion and both are trying to out-talk the other they are both justified in their actions. But if one put on self-control or gentleness the other can see that they are not being Christ-like; which causes them to check their actions. This is why we are to be each others mirror.
I challenge us to put on the fruit of the Spirit which is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Galatians 5:22
So when our husbands look into the mirror this is what they see!

Wow, I really like this and it is so true. I thank God for the Holy Spirit because he truly does convict me when my actions and attitudes are controlled by my flesh instead of the right spirit. Even though I don't always obey the leading of the spirit because my old nature does fight to have it's own way. I am without excuse because I do know what God and His what says, I just choose to be disobedient.
